”Thingumijigs’ bring traditional Welsh music & dancing to Llantwit Major.
After enjoying the unique experience of playing traditional Welsh tunes at this year’s Eisteddfod, local band ‘Thingumijigs’ are hosting their own twmpath on the evening of Friday 10th August at the Llantonian Hall in Llantwit Major. A sparkling selection of jigs, reels, polkas and waltzes will be called in English by popular caller Mic Spenceley. Everyone, experienced dancers, novices, and families with children, will be encouraged to kick up their heels and celebrate Welsh music and dance, as the Eisteddfod week draws to a close.
Home made refreshments and soft drinks will be on sale, and licensing allows dancers to bring their own beer or wine. Let’s get together to make this an evening to remember! From 7.00pm - 10.30 pm.
