It’s been a busy few months for The Firewood Company and we are working hard to ensure that we continue to provide premium logs sourced as locally as possible. This year we are very excited to have secured our stocks from woodlands within 2 miles of our yard on the Penllyn Estate Farm in Cowbridge.
Once again our part seasoned wood is proving to be very popular, so if you have space to store wood in a dry, well ventilated area then it’s a great money saving option. Buy now and your wood will be ready for you in the winter!
And if the sun comes out while you are waiting for your wood to season you can light the BBQ and get cooking with our fantastic charcoal supplied to us from the Gwent Wildlife Trust. Don’t forget to stock up on our eco firelighters and kindling to get your BBQs, fire pits and chimineas blazing! We also have softwood which is great for burning on your chiminea after you’ve finished cooking for £70 per m3.
Our Ebay store is now open! Follow the link from The Firewood Company Website. We are currently selling a range of beautifully crafted Gransfors Bruks axes. The axes are crafted in Sweden using traditional techniques and are world renowned and even used and endorsed by Ray Mears! The smaller axes are ideal for camping, trekking, bushcraft and making your own kindling! Over the next few months we will be expanding our range of products available to buy online and are currently sourcing high quality products that compliment our current range. We will soon be selling Clulite torches designed by British engineering company, Cluson. The Clulite head torches and lanterns are excellent for camping trips and outdoor adventures!
The Firewood Company is also stocking Firesteels made locally in The Vale of Glamorgan by Tom Smith. The Firesteels create very hot sparks which can light many types of tinder – no need to worry about soggy matches in your rucksack or forgetting your lighter on your next camping trip!
