It’s back – a special one-off Sunday night summer quiz at the Bush 7.30pm Sunday, 29 July
It will be an extravaganza of intellect, trivia and mind boggling brain teasers. To whet your appetite, here are the rounds that will challenge your grey (or more accurately, white) matter:
- Tour de Bwlch
- Oz or bust
- Sax on fire
- Five rings
- Weatherman walking
- Universally challenged
(Be warned – Google or Wikipedia will be of no use whatsoever!)
There will also be a very special end-game – a mash-up of Scattergories and Pointless!
The quiz will be in memory of Liz’s Uncle Ben who passed into a peaceful sleep recently and all funds raised will be donated to Velindre Cancer Centre in Cardiff.
There will also be an amazing raffle – prizes to date include:
- Hospitality tickets for Cardiff City’s pre-season friendly against Newcastle United
- Beauty / gift / shopping vouchers
- Radley leather bag
- Golf lesson
- Champagne
- Wine tasting
It is a fantastic charity and I really hope you will come along and help us raise loads and loads. It’s £1 entry per person and winning team takes half (the other half goes to Velindre).
